Case Study 1: Eric Tweedale Stadium Project

In late 2023, Cumberland City Council approached Collaborative Design Space for an exciting project at the recently constructed Eric Tweedale Stadium. The fantastic pavilion and grounds added another fantastic space for the community and would the home of the NRLW. Michael Eisenhuth Senior Construction Project Officer was faced with the challenge to create new spaces that would be secure, acoustic, and easy on the eye. Options to build were discounted due to cost and need to have the additional requirements moveable.

The team at Collaborative Design Space was approached to provide ideas and quotes for the project that had some additional challenges regarding access, power, data and a fixed position ground management box (announcements and scoreboard required this access) from inside one of the Pods. The solution provided was 4 x XL Space Pods that were delivered and assembled onsite on the agreed day.
